There is a long way to go with high perf E. Some other generation might like watching E vehicles race. Currently no one is much interested in something that sounds like a blender going around.

Great video. During the last session of fuel altereds I was standing along the retaining wall taking pictures. I’m the last guy in the red shirt. I got some great shots of the fuel altereds that day.

Everything I see on that setup is 25 years old the parts may be new it's the design that is antiquated.

Basic electric engineering current does not pass through the cabling it passes around the diameter of the cable.

2 motors to 4 motors to 6 motors to 8 motors. Current configuration is maxed out at half track

Motors need to be twinned and staged in for full acceleration Lower power draw

Hybrid battery needed

They call that engine a "small block " Chevy, but, trust me... that is a high tech hybrid of an engine. It's very cool, but it's barely a chev small block 😂

This is how they should've kept the reincarnation of Nostalgia funny cars. Same dimensions. Giant smokey burnouts etc. Now look at the current God damn nostalgia FC's. Bunch of bastardized cars that look like crap. Wimpy, near smokeless burnouts. $10,000 dollar blowers, etc. The dumb ass racers do this every time.

Kids, THAT is what drag racing was about in the Golden Age! No clouds of vapor, but flames instead! Crisp sounding. Not much more to them than an engine, rear axle and big rear tires. Built, not with huge sponsor money, but with a shoestring budget, grit, and a burning desire to go fast. Those were the days!

This puts an end to all the bullshit excuses why modern big show cars cant do chi town jungle jim 1/8 mile old school burnouts......bunch of prima donnas that dont care about putting on a show. These cars from 2010 sound good. Deep, throaty, big smoky burnouts. Modern nostalgia FC's sound like Sh__t !! Like glorified alcohol FC's. And they don't do smoky burnouts, either !

The nostalgia FC's in 2011 were way cooler than the nostalgia funny cars that are out there now. The modern nostalgia FC's suck ! They sure messed that class up.

That's a good looking nostalgia funny car. Side skirts above the headers. Not much front overhang. BIG smoky burnout. And still went 255 mph !! Today's "nostalgia" FC's suck.

He doesn't even run this car anymore.
